Who We Are

Our website address is https://organisational-design.com.

Comments

When visitors leave comments, we collect the information shown in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. We may send an anonymised version of your email address (a hash) to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. You can read the Gravatar privacy policy at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors can download images from the site and extract that information.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email and website in cookies so you don’t need to re‑enter your details next time. These cookies last for one year. When you visit the login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is removed when you close your browser. When you log in, we set cookies to store your login details and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and display preference cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login stays active for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies. If you edit or publish an article, your browser stores an additional cookie that records the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day and contains no personal data.

Embedded Content

Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you visited those websites directly. These external sites may collect data about you, use cookies, add third‑party tracking and monitor your interactions with the embedded content, especially if you are logged in to their service.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Keep Your Data

If you leave a comment, we keep the comment and its metadata indefinitely so we can recognise and approve future comments automatically. If you register on the site, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can view, edit or delete your information at any time, except for your username. Website administrators can also access and edit this information.

Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can also ask us to delete your personal data. This does not include data we must keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
